Sumicrystal
(Synthetic Single Crystal Diamond)

The Sumicrystal, through Sumitomo Electric's original ultra-high pressure technology, became the world's first commercially available large crystal synthetic diamond. Produced in Sumitomo Electric's factory under the most stringent quality control, the Sumicrystal's superior quality, predictable nature and consistent supply truly make it a diamond among diamonds for industrial applications. Sumicrystal are produced in two different variations, Sumicrystal type Ib, and Sumicrystal type IIa.
Synthetic Single Crystal Diamond

  1. Sumicrystal Type Ib - Is a synthetic single crystal diamond containing evenly distribute nitrogen in quantities of several tens of ppm.
  2. Sumicrystal Type IIa - Is a synthetic single crystal diamond containing a nitrogen purity of less than 1 ppm.
 
Chemical Vapor Deposited Diamond Chemical Vapor Deposited Diamond (CVD Diamond)
Because of its binderless polycrystalline structure with very few impurities, our CVD diamond exhibits a high thermal conductivity which approaches that of natural diamond.
 
Diamond Metal Composite for Heat Sink (DMCH- Diamond Copper Compsite)
With a termal conductivity roughly three times higher than ordinary composite materials such as A1N or CuW, and a price about one-fifth that of all-diamond products, DMCH is an economical choice for higher-end users. Engineered with a comparable thermal expansion to GaAs and InP, DMCH is an excellent choice for Laser Diode and other semiconductor chips.
